Coraopolis District Sportsmen's Association

We had another strong membership year for 2009. The success of our Gun Bash has, again, allowed the club to avoid a dues increase even though property tax, insurance, and utility costs keep going up. Thank you to everyone who helped out with last year's bash. It is our only fundraiser and is quite a bit of work to pull off.

There are a lot of great things going on in 2010. All skill levels of safe shooters, including beginners, are encouraged to participate in our archery and shooting events. Maker sure you bring the whole family to Family Night and the Corn Roast.

The security cameras installed in 2008 appear to have had a positive effect on littering and unnecessary damage to target stands and other items. Remember that camers are installed on both the indoor and outdoor ranges, as well as the parking lot. The video is stored electronically and can be played back if necessary.

This is your club too. Please help us make it better by attending meetings, volunteering occasionally or just picking up a few extra spent shells on the range. Every little bit helps. Thank you.
